A staple of London club culture, Korean DJ sooyeon has become synonymous with high energy DJ sets that express her playful persona with tons of attitude, seamlessly fusing curated club reworks, thumping kicks and sub-bass dives.

She first discovered her passion for London’s nightlife when she relocated to the city from Toronto.  She has developed a distinct style that has earned the seal of approval of globally-renowned artists, fellow DJs and iconic brands.

Melding wobbling basslines with sassy distorted vocals and cheeky techno energy, her newest single ‘in the club, we are all disassociating' on Cross Country Records builds on sooyeon’s signature fusion of UK bass, techno, and leftfield club sounds. A bold follow-up to her breakthrough 2024 EP 'Block N Delete’, released via Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce label, was heralded as one of Mixmag’s Best Albums/EPs of the Year, the new single marks a continuation of her creative evolution - cementing her reputation as both a powerhouse DJ and a rising producer to watch.

Formally known as Oh Annie Oh, sooyeon made the decision to change her artist name to her given Korean name to firmly stamp her cultural identity throughout all her creative endeavours.
